15 minute armpit detox
If you're here you're probably thinking about supporting your detox pathways, maybe switching to a natural deodorant or just intrigued by what detoxing your armpits can possibly entail. I'm here to explain to you the whole process, my favorite simple recipe & why it honestly works for getting the gunk out of your armpits and cleaning up your lymphatic system.
Let's rewind a little to my college years when I first became involved in a more natural way of living and actually taking interest in the ingredients I was using on my body. I did sports growing up & honestly was just overall a sweaty person so I took to using the typical name branded deodorant that claimed to help with smell & sweat! It wasn't until later I realized how bad commercialized deodorants actually are for our bodies, filled with chemicals, aluminum, fragrance & a whole list of harmful ingredients. Not only are these horrible for our bodies, we are putting it on the most sensitive part that's directly linked to our lymphasic system. Our lymphatic system doesn't have its own pump system like our heart does so it mainly relies on our habits to keep flowing and pumping to properly detox and flush out pollutants as we come in contact with them.
If you're thinking about making the switch from normal deodorant to a natural, essential oil based I highly recommend doing this 15 minute armpit detox before switching over, for one full week. If you're already on a natural deodorant, or hey even none at all, this is still a great detox to do for supporting your lymphatic system and to keep up with detoxing! This has worked for me for years, you can even do it on your face or feet for even more skin and detoxing benefits.

Indian Healing Clay by Aztec Secret
Why it works: absorbs oil dirt & clogged pores with antibacterial properties which help with unclogging and eliminating build up caused from body products.
BRAGG Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
Why it works: Draws out impurities, gets rid of odor, kills bacteria & balances ph levels on the skin.
Apply with brush or hands, equal parts clay and vinegar mixed into a paste to your under arms. Be sure it's not runny but not clumpy. Let sit for 15-20 minutes until mostly hardened, wash off with warm water! I did this nightly for a full week when I first started then moved to a monthly routine or just when I feel I need this! Be sure to drink lots of water, to help support lymphatic system health & overall wellness.
